So with the new dedicated server in, I’ve decided to clean this up a bit. I am officially announcing that this blog will be closed until the 4th of November, due to commitments elsewhere. But this is no guarantee that this site will be ‘active’ as such. Why? Well the Wiki is still unused. Until that has been updated fully and used actively then there is no point in this website.

Sure I’m on holidays and I’m playing more Neverdaunt. But lately I’m feeling not interested in this site. It will stay active but not active to the point where it’s updated everyday. Yes I will do videos and the comic has been a chore so I stopped it some days ago-I’ll continue it tomorrow. I don’t want to keep witholding it but sometimes I just can’t be bothered. But I will have the comic out in the next 2 weeks.

So in short, I will update the site but not everyday, maybe every week. I’m also spending more time on the N8 official wiki and the actual game too.

Hey welcome to the 1st Editorial for May 31st 2010.

What am I talking about today? Well I’m going to talk about something very exiciting coming to N8. Tronics. We know of ‘em and let’s face it-we are going to love them. Have you seen the videos?! Aion’s been working very hard. I think they will live up to their expectations. In fact my opinion of them so far is nothing but good. I guess the question now is what we’re all going to make with them. Well I think it would be cool I guess to use to spruce up group HQ’s. I’m sure The Rook’s will be using plenty anyhow.

I’m going to leave this open so we can look back once tronics have been released. But has it all been worth it? The long wait, the brick reprogamming? Only time will tell. Until next time.

Part 2: June 8th

So yeah I’m back and probably going to shove this editorial and make  a new one soon, it’s been a week. Anyway tronics came out and surprise surprise they lived up to our expectations. Well mine anyway, I can’t speak for everyone, aber ich Deutsch und Franzoisch sprechen kann. Rofl.

Anyway tronics are great. Use Z and X to create the wires from the input tronic (e.g. keyboard) to the data, then to the output (e.g. screen). It’s simple and easy to use. I really got into it when I found out they are able to be hidden in blocks. My idea for a moving obstacle course, similar to the planets in Super Mario Galaxy is coming to fruition. Well I hope you all have fun messing with tronics, I sure know I’ll have heaps of continuing fun with them. Make sure you’ve got enough tokens though!

Next time: I will be talking about an important part of the game that can only be created by us and us only. The community. Au revoir mes amis!

Hi this is just a general announcement but the wiki and forums are down, so something is wrong with the server. This is not meant to be a news post but rather I just felt like typing some stuff to keep things flowing while we wait for tronics…and the N8BG comic!

Just some things, HalfBaked hasn’t been active lately, and not active on Neverdaunt either so he’s now listed as being on leave. He’s returned before and he’ll do it again so don’t worry folks. Also don’t forget to send in screenshots and VoidAvoid courses for us to feature here! Thanks guys!

So you’ve been to Safe Castle and seen the lone stall with the fishman running it. I bet you’re probably wondering how you’re supposed to make money with that bargaining jerk. Well that’s why you’re probably reading this so let’s continue.

Before you get your hopes up let me tell you that the fishman formula is not predictable. He will change his token to fish ratio every 8 hours to a random number from 1 to about 40. Therefore, you can’t entirely predict the outcome of your sales though you know when he will change rates.

-Screenshot Sunday no longer just Sunday, two weeks cycle.

-Featured Video is a three weeks to one month cycle.

-VoidAvoid Course is a two weeks cycle.

-Editorial renamed Corber’s Corner, cause Editorial sounds worse.

-You are required to have been an author to apply for an Editor role and you must be an author for at least two months.

-Updated the Positions page to be more accurate and reliable.

P.S. By cycle I mean every cycle we choose a new video, screenshot course etc.
